Symons Sym-Ply Forming System
Sym-Ply is optimized for ease of use and assembly. Only a hammer is needed to lock clamps in place. 100% compatible with Steel-Ply — no transition fillers needed. Sym-Ply also eliminates metric conversions because it is imperial- dimensioned.

Symons Sym-Ply is one of the easiest formwork systems to assemble and use. The clamp system is 100% compatible with Steel-Ply no special components needed. Sym-Ply has 80 ksi steel for strength and durability. This formwork system can quickly form corners, bulkheads, pilasters, footing steps and columns. Sym-Ply is light-weight, versatile and needs only a hammer to lock clamps in place. It assembles into gang units without the need for a forklift. Sym-Ply is imperial dimensioned with 36' wide panels and no metric conversion is needed. It uses standard taper ties and she-bolts and allows 1500 psf.

The Symons Steel-Ply forming system comes in a variety of standard sizes which can be combined to form virtually any dimension; whereas job-built formwork must be tailored for each specific pour. Steel-Ply panels and fillers are made of specially laminated plywood mounted to rugged steel frames. With proper care, Steel-Ply forms can be used up to 200 times before being reconditioned. The Symons Steel-Ply concrete forming system is the most widely used and recognized formwork system in the industry. This versatile, hand-set system can be used on virtually any type of vertical concrete structure including; foundation walls, columns, shear walls, slab edges, elevator shafts and stair cores.
